Christmas cookies recipes are one of the things that I love about Christmas. The smell of fresh baked cookies coming out of the oven is pure heaven. Below is on the great Christmas cookie recipes that I am sure you will love.

This recipe makes 60 cookies. Enough for yourself, family and friends!

“Santa’s Whisker’s” Cookies Ingredients:

3/4 cup Margarine
2 cups Flour
3/4 cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3/4 cup finely chopped candied red or green cherries
1/3 cup finely chopped pecans
3/4 cup coconut

How to Prepare Ingredients:

  • Take your margarine (make sure it is margarine and not a stick of butter) and beat margarine with an electric mixer on medium then gradually increase the speed to high for 30 seconds.
  • Only add in half the flour.  Stir while adding in sugar, milk, and vanilla. Beat till thoroughly combined. (Don’t add the rest of the flour until thoroughly mixed.
  • Now it is time to stir in remaining flour. Stir in cherries and pecans. Shape into 8-inch rolls.
  • Take your coconut and roll that into you mix. Wrap in wax paper; chill 2- 24 hours. Cut into 1/4-inch slices.
  • Place on an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake in the over at 375 degree for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  • Cool cookies on a wire rack.
  • Serve and enjoy
